Quick Games are free. All of it.
Starting with this update, a Quick Game costs nothing. Set the buy-in. Carries or squashed. Set the handicap allowance that ends the first-tee argument. Stack junk, a Nassau, a hammer if your group has the nerve. Hand the other foursome's scorekeeper a web link and they don't even need the app. Watch the money move live on every phone, and settle up in the parking lot. No subscription, no cap, no asterisk.
So what's the subscription for?
The group. A recurring Skins Group is your crew with a name on it: an all-time leaderboard, stats that stack up, next Saturday's tee time already set, and a history that carries week to week. It's the thing a one-off game can't be.
And here's the part worth reading twice. One person subscribes, and it runs the whole group. Everyone else plays free.
The group got better too
No more who’s-in texts. Everyone in a Skins Group is in by default. Can’t make Saturday? Tap I’m out on the group page and you’re out of that round only — next week you’re back in without lifting a finger. The organizer sees who’s playing on the tee sheet, and the night before, everyone gets one nudge: Are you in?
A real home for your group. Open a Skins Group and the next round, the leaderboard, the last results and the crew are on one page. Settings and player management moved off the tee sheet so the sheet is just the sheet.
No-shows don’t hold the pot hostage. Someone bailed after the round started? The organizer can pull a player, or a whole group, from the live round and the skins settle on the people who actually played.
Web scorers can switch phones. Phone died on 12? Open the link on another one, tap Score on this phone instead, and keep going.
